Staying on the Ball
2 Day Basketball Camp: With a life changing experience

MSF has teamed up with ARMAGH (IofC - Initiatives of Change) to host the "Staying on the Ball" basketball and life skills camps.

The weekend is all about learning to become a leader and a role-model for yourself and others. There are two parts to the camp; one being BASKETBALL TRAINING, where the group will be coached by a Big V player. The second part will be LIFE SKILLS where the participants will discuss their goals, have guest speakers talk to the group, and go through a range of group tasks that will help build confidence and skills that will help you in life.

The first camp was held back in November 2007 and received some great feedback.

The next camp is being planned for April 2008, and we're taking down names right now.

Australian Basketball Academy
MSF has teamed up with Downtown3, forming the Australian Basketball Academy; which aims to develop young basketball players in Australia looking to take their game to a higher level. Downtown3's Director, Jeremy McCauley, has had years of experience playing and training with college programs and camps across the U.S, and is back in Australia hosting these complete camps with MSF. Guest appearances from NBL players and players with overseas experience will also be coaching at these camps.

The next camp will be in Melbourne, soon in 2007.
